What Parents Should Know About Our Toys
Many of our fidget toys, puzzles, and building sets are designed for children ages 3 and up, but the right fit depends on your child’s developmental stage. For younger kids, look for larger, chunkier pieces that are easy to grasp and free of small parts. Older children often enjoy more intricate puzzles or kinetic fidgets that provide a quiet challenge. Always check the recommended age range on the product page-these guidelines are based on safety testing and complexity, not just marketing.
The materials vary across items, but most are made from durable ABS plastic, food-grade silicone, or smooth sanded wood. Fidget toys often have a soft, matte texture or satisfying clicky feedback, while building blocks feature secure, non-slip connections. Avoid exposing wooden pieces to moisture; a dry cloth keeps them clean. For silicone items, warm soapy water works well. Store loose pieces in a zip pouch or the original box to prevent loss, especially with puzzles that have many small tiles.
- Inspect all toys upon arrival. If a piece has a sharp edge or crack, stop use and contact us right away.
- Some sensory toys include magnets or liquid-filled chambers. Supervise play and immediately discard any item that leaks or separates.
- Remind children not to put small fidgets or puzzle pieces in their mouths, even if the material feels chewy.
- Rotate toys to keep interest high; a puzzle that feels too hard today might be a favorite next month.
